He was fired for having nude pics/videos of his own children on his phone? Thats a travesty in its self.

Do the players not want to play for him because he is now considered a sex offender in the court of public opinion?

No they don't want to play for him because everyone loves Keen, he is a weird dude in general... but probably because they don't respect him for what he is doing to Keen.

Because it was a single picture of his kids that was clearly not remotely pornographic. And the case was immediately thrown out once a judge actually looked at it. So he was wrongfully terminated because he didn't actually do the thing they accused him of.

I'm surprised he would ever go back to the school that fired him for having pictures of his own children on his phone. Cut your ties and move on.

sounds like they fired him without any investigation. either that or there's more to the story.

Re: Minnesota State players refusing to Practice

It's a weird situation. Since he was wrongfully fired he deserves his job back, but it's another story if the players don't want him back. I'd say here it's his responsibility to take the high road and move on, but now that his guys won't take the field for him that's easier said than done.

Re: Minnesota State players refusing to Practice

So which one is more damning to his future career options:
    1. Wrongfully terminated for child pornography. Won case, so still has clean record and school looks bad
    or
    2. Losing your players to the point they wont play for you

IN this case it looks like #2. He could have moved on and been fine. But coming back to the place that screwed him might be the most hurtful part for future employment.

The AD is meeting with the players now, there was only 3 freshman suited up for practice today.
Hoffner was present when the players read their statement
