    Atlanta Falcons kickers

After the Falcon's kicker, Michael Koenen, went 2 for 8 in his first two games, I thought the he might get dropped, and maybe the Falcons would opt to rear their kicker from their practice squad, Tony Yelk. They've held onto yelk as a reserve from what I last heard. Instead, however, 46 year old Morten Andersen got the call to come back and kick the pa's and fg's. Oh well. :-)

Really makes me wonder why they're so hesitant to put Yelk in there. Is he unreliable on the practice squad or what? Wish they'd give him a chance.

I could see him being really successful doing kick off's, but not field goals...are we already forgetting that the term "Yelk it" exists for a reason. He's got a huge leg, but not the greatest aim.

Since MortonA can only kick 40 yards and in, Yelk may still come into play.
