If your food blender is 88 dB at 25 feet, then its time to get a new blender. 80 dB at 25 feet means your stereo is cranked pretty loud. 80 dB is about the range where long term exposure can cause hearing damage.

Why arrest him, why not a ticket? I think a ticket would have brought the message home just fine. We all heard that DBAG Ames cop on scanner: "Where is he, I have no problem arresting that guy" in the douchiest tone ever.
Playing music loud in his car at midnight of veishea is more worthy of an arrest than rioting. lol

So if you ask someone to do something, and then ask them again, then again, you dont start to get frustrated?

Don't judge. Maybe the man eats a lot, and has a room-sized blender.

Than every disorderly house ticket ever for loud music should be arrest not a ticket. They alway give a warning first then a ticket never an arrest. It is pretty common and this is the first time ever I have heard of someone getting arrested.

It has been stated in the other VEISHEA thread that the cops caused the riot by breaking up the party, the cops caused the riot because they moved the crowd towards welch and that the cops being mean to people has caused them to riot. Too many pages for me to go back through and link all of them for you.

Media reports say he was cited and there has been no record of him in the county jail. Until someone has proof that he was arrested and taken to jail the title of this thread should be changed.

Back in the Walden days, when we ****ed up, they dumped us on a dirt road somewhere outside of town at dawn and had us run back to the stadium.

A couple months back, I got pulled over for an out-of-date registration, got cited for an expired license. I got my ticket, had a laugh with the cop about a book I was reading that he had just finished a couple months back, talked about the upcoming ISU vs. UNI football game, and then drove away.

The next day in the paper, the blotter showed that I'd been arrested.

You don't have to be put into a cop car with handcuffs to be shown as being arrested.

Where are you and janny getting the 4 warnings. I haven't seen that anywhere else.
