Yeah, I saw that, however I wasn't clear which one applies in that case. It does say that the automobile section does not preclude enforcement of other sections, however, I can guarantee that nearly any Harley firing up and leaving their residence is over the 60 db residential limit between 0700 and 0000 and certainly over the 55 db limit between 0000 and 0700.

I thought this happened on a residential street - which it has the limit at 60db. I guess I didn't pay attention to where he was when this happened.

Depending on which limit and depending on how far away the noise measurement was. If the cop was pretty close to the car, 80 dB is nothing. If the cop was pretty far away, 80 dB could be significant.

I agree about the Harley thing, they can be beyond obnoxious.

scanner mentioned a church parking lot if I remember correctly. At least, that's where he'd been warned before.

A couple years ago on RAGBRAI the neighbor of the house where we were staying made sure to fire up his Harley and rev the engine about every two hours all night. It was a pleasant experience when you are(were) sleeping in a tent less than 50 feet away.

Good lord, this place is out of control.

We basically have an internet riot going on right now.

“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”

Must be the mods fault. According to a lot of people here the actual ******** that go out and create all the problems aren't responsible.

You must be reading on a different site. I've seen a lot of 'the ones breaking the law are ultimately at fault, but the police could handle certain situations better..'

Link to posts saying law breakers aren't at all at fault?
