    Re: Cheick Diallo

Should be a really exciting recruiting season next year. Hopefully the official visits that the prospects come in for are exciting. That atmosphere surrounding RV's visit last year was pretty awesome. He got to see Hilton at its best and as much as I would have liked seeing him in the Cardinal and Gold, if a kid gets to have that experience and still doesn't sign up, then they probably need to be somewhere else anyway. lol Just need to make sure the ISU Daily doesn't try to get us into trouble again.

Sounds like Cheick is tearing up the Top100 Camp going on right now. This is going to be a heavy weight recruiting battle, which isn't a suprise.

Cheick Diallo just outran everybody for a dunk and then outran everybody back to harass Daniel Giddens into a turnover. #thoroughbred

Cheick Diallo has gotten so good that the elite programs are going to do more than recruit him, they're going to go all out for him.
Am I the only one who thinks #thoroughbred is a little racist?

Yeah I don't like that phrase. I don't ever remember comparing Fred to a horse when he played.

I think "thoroughbred" is pretty neutral and is frequently used to describe many types of athletes.

There just happens to not be many white guys that are the type of physical athlete that gets described as a thoroughbred. John Elway getting called "horse face" is probably as close as I can come in thinking of one.

That's some serious blue-blood love for this kid. I'd love to get him, but it will be very difficult.

I assume he is Kentucky bound unless there is a log jam of players at his position.

Not an athlete, but Sarah Jessica Parker IS a horse and she's white, sooooo

i don't think it's racist at all. Just a compliment. I'm pretty sure anyone on here would've been overjoyed for someone to call them a thoroughbred when they played sports.

More of a mouse/rat shaped face than a horse.
