As hundreds of you found out, the site went down for about 5 minutes tonight at 11:35 due to a rapid surge in traffic and page refreshes for the ISU MBB game. That was only the second time in two months the site has gone down at all and it's only been for a combined 10 minutes so we're not doing too bad considering all the rapid and consistent growth. After 2 years of growth, we're probably going to max out yet another server before too long
I'm going to bed now but my Blackberry will wake me if the site happens to go down and I'll make sure to get it back up ASAP if for some reason that happens. Now that the game is over and the enormous number of page refreshes should stop, we should be in the clear.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine.
