    1. Your 3 posts make me lean heavily toward you being a jealous Hawkeye troll.

    2. The players using this rule have already graduated either from redshirting, injuries, summer classes or whatever. Whether they transfer or not they'll be a graduate student, and whether they transfer or not most likely won't finish that graduate degree once they're paying their own tuition and no longer eligible for sports.

DeAndre Kane was an absolute warrior for this team and by all accounts has done well as a student athlete on our campus. As an alumni who paid a lot for my ISU degree I'm not a fan of athletes potentially dragging ISU's name through the mud, I haven't felt that way about a single one of Hoiberg's transfer players. It's ugly and pathetic jealousy to bring up stuff like this.

(me being slightly younger) I start with Tinsley, jump to Royce (way he dominated) then to McGee, Ejim and Kane...Niang could be the future favorite because of his passion for Ames and the game. Although, never know with Hogue and Morris in the near future.

The list keeps increasing rapidly as these players are a lot of fun to watch!

I assume since he's already graduated that leaving campus without finishing the semester won't hurt our APR, right?

Ummm did you miss the Blalock, Clark & Stinson years? Those were two very fun years to be a student after the 2002-03 debacle.

Why would DeAndre leaving early hurt our annual percentage rate?

Even if Kane never finishes his master's he has had a great opportunity to grow as a player and a person n the last year. Some things in life go beyond dollars and degrees. It would not surprise me at all if Kane does go back and finish his degree after he is done playing BB. The guy is 24 years old and has decent NBA stock, he needs to work on that now.

His and the teams tweets today heavily indicate that he's moving out today.

As for finishing the semester, his blog post today indicated that it was for a class requirement. My guess is that he was only on for 3 or 6 credits (normal for a grad student) and had already finished most of his classwork.
