Pretty sure this isn't true. He did have people checking in on him often, but it wasn't like they were always watching in on him. They were just making sure he was being smart.

    Re: Bryce Dejean-Jones

The "baggage" I have found so far was a "violation of team rules detrimental to the team", which could be anything, but most here would probably hazard a guess. This was before the last regular season game which UNLV lost. The other thing mentioned in one article was that he allegedly yelled at his teammates in the locker room after their loss in the conference tourney to San Diego State. That was at UNLV, and it was the second round.

-Be kind. That is something you will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old "I wish I was not good to that person".

CBS analyst Doug Gottlieb told the Review-Journal that he overheard the locker room confrontation between Dejean-Jones and Kendrick.
“I was back in the bowels in the arena, and I heard some of the shouting and some of the shenanigans going on in the locker room,” Gottlieb, who called multiple UNLV games this season, told the newspaper. “I think Bryce was toxic. He was really hard to play with, but he needs a really strong personality as a coach, and Dave has to show that.”

    Fred is that coach!

If this kid were to come, there wouldn't be just one or two potentially really good players coming off the bench. There would be, at least, three.

Not 100% of the time but much more than any other player in ISU history.......I saw him any number of times at Hilton for women's games with his shadow not far away.
