Did they play two years or were they transfers that sat out a year then played one year? No one is getting attached to a guy that only practices with the team but can't play in games. That's no different than fans getting excited about a recruit for the year leading up to their freshman season.

Comparing them to the 1st/2nd best player in the entire sport is bound to leave you disappointed. Just because everyone isn't as good as one of the best players in the game doesn't mean they won't be excellent NBA players.

Wiggins was the main reason why Kansas won the conference title. For that alone he will be remembered fondly. To say it means less because we are "used" to it is simply an incorrect assumption. Frankly, I consider this year's conference title to be one of the most meaningful because of the strength of the conference, the youth of the team and the mental toll their ridiculously difficult non-con schedule placed on them. Every year is unique and special. I do not judge a player's legacy on one game. He handled the ridiculous pressure put him with class and was a great teammate and hard worker. You can hope for more but not ask for more.

certainly wiggins won't be remembered or honored like jacque vaughn or raef lafrenze or danny manning though. you have to admit that, twocoach.

andrew came to ku only because he couldn't go to the league, no other reason. that doesn't make him bad. it's just a fact.

I agree with this. DeAndre Kane and Royce White both stand out among the other transfers.
