Oh good grief, great game plan? Let Napier hoist up contested threes and the big dude hit crazy fadeaway jumpers that he hasn't hit with regularity all year. Yeah, great job Ollie, what a genius!!

Re: Uconn fan who knows the truth

As much as I'd like to think we would have own with Georges, our problem was defense, and Georges is hardly known as our best defender. He would have helped a ton on the offensive end, and who knows what the outcome would have been, but we couldn't get stops and I doubt Georges would have helped a whole lot to have changed that.

If UCONN can beat Florida, the next game will be easier.

Florida is a better version of Louisville, and Louisville beat Uconn three times. Uconn doesn't get to play at home for this round, so I wouldn't be surprised if Florida cruises in this one.

UConn beat Florida in Florida's last loss.
That was at home, and Florida has more than a little extra motivation right now, but they could actually get it done.

Congratulations and great job by Coach Ollie and the Huskies. I doubt many people gave them a chance against MSU and they got it done. Good luck and I hope you go all the way.

Great . . . great for NYC and all the east coast types. Count me disinterested and mildly miffed about their UCon MSG home court advantage. I hope they get opened up like a tin of sardines in the $F4.

I still stick by what I said about the Cyclones with Niang, but it's time to accept that Uconn, at MSG or not at MSG, plays some tremendous defense. It isn't like they shot lights out at MSG.

Maybe you will get your wish Monday night, because Uconn pretty much smothered the team that was all but handed ths tournament before it started.

Uconn...like many fan bases...we have some that think everything is a conspiracy.

and I don't care if they played these last few games in Jim Calhouns backyard.....you beat Villanova, iowa state, Michigan state, and Florida.....and the defending champs? I'd say UCONN easily earned it.

    ill be pulling for UCONN....

Go celebrate your team being in the championship... you were only there like 3 years ago.

Was a heck of a run......Ollie left a lot of storied, highly successful coaches in his wake on this title run.

Napier is an idiot for his APR comments, but a heck of a player. Definitely earned it.

Congratulations to UCONN. They absolutely earned their national championship. All the UCONN fans should be proud of their team and their coach.
