You are ******* ********. In the era of one and dones, no one gives a flying **** about years played. Ejim earned that award.

**** off to the Hawk board with that garbage

Per40 stats are as good as Hoibergs. Stop it with you degradation of his POY award. If Kane or Niang were thought to be more productive by coaches, they would have gotten it. If you don't put his up you will never have justification for another one.

Melvin will be in the ISU HOF. I'm still sold that his jersey should be raised, but I'm wavering a little on the topic.
Even if they do retire his #, it won't be for a few years.

The hate is heavy, huh? Fred would probably also admit that with out Mel we probably don't get into the tournament the last two years. His numbers in conference play are phenomenal!

Rafter worthy players show up for Sweet 16 games. He made the coaches of all Big 12 teams look like fools for the last 4 games of his career. Fantastic 4 year player. Hang his pencil in Parks, but he doesn't deserve the rafters of Hilton.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

Melvin's been making a significant portion of the fanbase look like fools for 3 years now so maybe it balances out.

He has the stats and accolades to be considered one of our best players. If you are going save it for truly the best players, a guy like Gary Thompson probably would not be up there.

There are guys up there that never made it to a Sweet 16.

    Yes. Excellent point.

One of them is Fred Hoiberg.

And I doubt anyone seriously questioned his inclusion, even before his early run of success as head coach. That's partly because jersey-retirement has no absolute definition.

I'm in no rush to include Ejim in the rafter-of-honor. I do think he deserves a prominent place on the waiting list.
