Absolutely. NIT is where they belong. No team should get into the NCAA by losing 6 of the last 7. Ooops, Iowa City really did not make the NCAA tourney, only a play in game.

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

F***, I don't want to know anything anymore. This is a world where nothing is solved. Someone once told me, 'Time is a flat circle.' Everything Iowa basketball has ever done or will do, they're gonna do over and over and over again. And that guy from Northwestern State and that little girl named Mike Gessell, they're gonna be in that same position again and again and again forever."

To realize that all your life you know, all your love, all your hate, all your memory, all your pain it was all the same thing. It was all the same dream. A dream that you had inside a locked room. A dream about being a person. And like a lot of dreams there's a monster at the end of it, Iowa basketball.

It seems like in the Big Dance the refs really let things go and don't officiate the same as they did during the regular season.

Iowa Hugs and Mugs and the Vols get NO calls and then away from the basket they call every ticky tack foul they can come up with, what a Travesty of Officiating.

I'm guessing you meant Tennessee hugs and mugs? Iowa had 28 fouls, Tennessee had 14 even though Tennessee shot 20% more from 3. Any fan base would be upset at those numbers.

So can we definitely say now that all the media saying Iowa to the Final Four meant Iowa to the First Four out?

Re: ***Iowa vs. Tennessee Play-In Game Thread***

Tennessee's Stokes and Maymon really dominated in the paint. When Iowa's threes weren't falling, Stokes and Maymon really took control of the game.

Really happy to see classic Iowa Choke-Eyes.
