Re: best shot advancing to final 4?

Texas has got a good shot, Louisville might be the best in the rehion and they wouldn't meet them until elite eight. That sai, I really like our chances in the east. Have to beat the teams in front of you, but MSU might be the toughest game we'd play and I believe we'd get them.

Has everyone forgotten about this gut named Wiggins (although I think Ellis and Nadir are as important)?
They took 2/3 vs SDSU who beat KU in Allen Field House WITH Embid. Obviously that doesn't mean anything past showing that they have the ability.

They have a great shot IMO.

Re: best shot advancing to final 4?

I think ISU, KU, OSU and Baylor all have chances. I don't think we should sleep on Baylor or Drew to be honest. He did something in the middle of conference play to wake that team up and deserves credit. Their length will give people absolute fits and Heslip and Cherry seems to be hitting every GD shot they take.

Don't forget that the "Baylor is Baylor is Baylor" thing can go two ways, squeak into the tourney and make an elite eight run qualifies, IMO.

baylor, um, i'm far from a fan, but they have lots of important variables working for them.

This also seems to be one of those things that people throw around about ISU this year, similar to how we live and die by the three point shot. Seems like everyone not an ISU fan is telling me how ISU is going to lose, but they seem to find a way to keep winning.

That was one of the best side-stories of last weekend. So nice to be able to trust Edozie to come in for a few minutes and rest Niang or Ejim.

26 - 7 with our depth. 3 wins in 3 days with our depth. Not an issue.

I have Baylor in the sweet 16. I wanted to take them farther, but then I remembered Baylor is Baylor is Baylor

Yeah, because if Iowa State can't hit 3 pointers, they can't win, right?

Agreed, the second half of the conference season and the tourney changed my tune of him. I still don't think he is the best in game guy but he has steadily improved with his game planning and player usage ie. Heslip off screens and Cherry off the bounce.
