Contract details released? I like it at the right price. He's more of a run stuffer than a pass rusher so I would hope they didn't break the bank.

I get that the Pats have had success in the past with kind of a no-name receiving corps, but at some point, especially after this past year, don't you have to pony up a little bit? I mean, Edelman was their most consistent receiver this year. Amendola and Gronk can't stay on the field, but Edelman was starting to look like Welker 2. I can't figure out why they wouldn't bring him back.

5 years $35 million. That's not too bad. And he plays right at around 300lbs, iirc. they might move him around on the line some.

$15 million guaranteed, $21 million in first three years of deal.

The run defense just got much, much better.

    Is Melton going to re-sign?

Good question. That appears to be up in the air right now. He's reported to be visiting the Buccaneers, as is Josh McCown, Charles Tillman and Devin Hester.

As if these four guys have a connection to Tampa Bay or something...

McCown and Hester, meh. Tillman would be a loss. Melton would be a bigger one.

Tyson Jackson got 5 years worth 25 million from ATL. That seems a bit much to me. Isn't Pioli there? Did he not learn his lesson the first time?

Jared Allen going to visit the Broncos per NFL Network. Also, Denver signs T.J. Ward, pro-bowl safety from the Browns. Good job so far Elway. Also re-signed Caldwell, guessing Decker is gone.

The more I think about it I'm fine with decker leaving. He wants 10 mill a year, sorry Eric your not that good. I'd like Denver to resign rodgers-cromartie, and moreno or another solid rb, not confident in ball as a full time rb.

Decker is a pretty good receiver that was made better by Peyton and some team is going to overpay for him. DeMaryious and Julius Thomas contracts are coming up in the future and they are way more important will need to be paid. There are some good receivers available they can get for cheaper than Decker. Sounds like Moreno is gone and Ball and C.J. Anderson will get a crack at the starting RB spot.

Elway needs to get Rodgers-Cromartie back. Chris Harris is coming back from a knee injury so corner is an important position. Get DRC back and get a veteran corner or draft one and get Harris back healthy and corner will be fine. Expect them to go defense heavy in the draft

Wow, the safety market dried up in a hurry. Jairus Byrd looks like the only one worth a damn left out there.
