    Lent

For you CFers who observe this, what are you doing? I'll be trying not to drink alcohol. So far, so good.

    Re: Lent

I don't care to give up food or booze, I'd rather get rid of some other bad habit, or form a new good one.

I don't know, but it is going to be tough next Friday in KC abstaining from meat surrounded by all those BBQ joints.

I don't observe it, but a co-worker was looking for fish. The Mucky Duck Pub has good fish n chips.

    Re: Lent

The best part of Lent are Catholic Church Fish Fries, especially when they have keg beer. Fried Food, Keg Beer, and the Holy Spirit, ain't nothing better.

ďUrgency,Ē Rhoads said. ďThatís exactly what I told our staff. Itís exactly what I told our players. Urgency in getting your job done. Thatís in a 100 percent rate of speed at executing your responsibility ó whether itís a fit, whether itís a tackle, whether itís a route, whether itís a cut-off block. Everybody needs a little bit more urgency in coaching and playing.Ē

I too give up alcohol and I'd encourage you to give it up, not try to give it up. You can do it!

Instead of giving something up, I thought I would try something new. Anyone have any meth?

Except when they're not all you can eat. What the heck is that about?

I'm going to try to increase my workouts. AKA work out for the first time since 2013 would be a good start.
