    All is well in Nebraska

GOD, er I mean Tom Osborne's ego, has decided that his presence is best for UNL athletics. Couldn't be better news today, unless of course the NCAA frees Lucca.

Re: All is well in Nebraska

I wonder how Bo Peneli feels having Tom staring over his shoulder, wiping his nose, and basicaly running HIS program for the next 2.5 years???

Anyone else notice that Bo assembled "HIS" assistant coaching staff in record time?" It is almost as if they were picked before Bo was hired.

It looks like a Dan Gable / Jim Zalesky rerun. We all know how that turned out.

I don't think they were picked. I think he agreed with Tom to keep Gilmore and Watson at his suggestion. The others were guys he worked with before who he liked. Also, two of the assistants were LSU guys who have worked under him!

This is going to be funny to watch. The world has passed Tom by, I hope he tries to force his option offense onto Pelini, and watch the mess that becomes of that.

In the omaha world herald today there was an article about how the NU recruiting class was down from 24 to 16. The best juco D lineman was committed to them and he has backed out and Dan Hoch is taking visits again. We need to get these guys.
