Re: West Virginia at Iowa State predictions

I have to agree that Kane will have an axe to grind in this one. He was embarrassed in front of his entire family. He is not the kind of guy to take that kind of thing. I expect him to come out with a fire in his eye. Hopefully that translates into monster play, not two quick charging calls.

Could Kane finally get to kiss that cute triple-double girl he has been flirting with all season?

This will be single digit game either way. The rest of the games this season will all be single digit games.

ISU wins this one by 5.

It will be labeled an ugly win. No one has a standout stat line. There will be 1/2 dozen grit plays in the 2nd half that make the difference. Melvin will be in the middle of most of them. More of the same, and I like it.

Your theory of every game we play end in single digits is plausible. Every bubble team is hungry for positioning in the standings come tournament time. Especially now that we are through with TCU and Texas Tech.

I love my team collectively, but I gotta give a HUGE shout out to Georges Niang! He has played consistently well these past few games... You want to talk about another Cyclone great?

I'm really concerned for those of you calling for a 20 pt win. I highly doubt my Mountaineers don't come out strong.

You have to remember just as you all feel you got the bad end of the kung foo fighting last time, in Morgantown the unanimous opinion is you all started it. We can agree to disagree as I don't want to hash it out again. My point is that our team wants to make a point with this game.

Hopefully it's a good game and we can both keep it clean.

Curious if you know the definition of unanimous?

Also, ISU/Kane is looking for payback at WV's expense. If you thought your fans were able to get in the heads of our players, you haven't seen anything yet.

Yes I do know the definition of unanimous. Do you recognize the temporality of the two events. You'll notice I said WVU fans believe you all started it...i.e. your karate kick came first and the flagrant 2 foul occurred after that...do you disagree with that sequence of events?

    Yeah, inadvertent versus intentional

5 points? Really? After being ahead by 14 points at the end vs. a Texas team which is much better than WVU, after being blown out and embarrassed by 25, and after Monte being violently assaulted? I think we win by at least double digits, and wouldn't be surprised by a blowout.

Yeah, but I think it's more likely ISU win's by 20 than wins by less than 10.

I predict that we win by <10 and also that I cannot watch the game as it is on the Big12 Network. That does not exist for Cox or DISH customers in the greater Phoenix area. I can't wait for next season when all league games should be on ESPN or 2 or U
