    How is it possible?

...that tOSU and Illinois can end a game with a final score of 48-39? NW finishes with 48 yesterday?

The Clones didn't score for the first 4 minutes of this game and haven't looked particularly good for stretches and they're going to break 80.

Do they have a shot clock in the B1G?

Big 10 plays horribly slow and boring basketball.

Good question. No one has ever given a real answer on why B1G is so slow.

Looks to be the Nebraska effect, if you catch my drift.

    Re: How is it possible?

Not only ISU, Texas went ICE COLD at the end of each half tonight and still ended up with 76.

"They play defense in the Bee One Gee." Give me a ******* break. Texas and ISU both played good defense tonight.

Utah Utes, Illinois Illini. The University of Pennsylvania thought about following this pattern by calling themselves the Pennsylvania Pencils. However, they were afraid their students would start chanting "We're No. 2"

Different style of play. If TCU and maybe T Tech had any say, most of their games would be in the 50's.

So do you really want an answer to your rhetorical question?

I've watched quite a few games this year, and it's not all defense. Many of those teams just plain can't shoot

I'm sure limited possessions plays a role into it as well.
