    I think it'll be 4-2.

First Nebraska win on the road vs a top 10 team since they beat ISU in 1997

If I may, I would like to properly illustrate the race for the big 10 title.

State43 is correct on this. These aren't your father's husker hoops with Miles and the Pinnacle Bank Arena. Creighton owns the Omaha metro area and the Huskers have the rest of the state. There are enough fans in the area to support both programs if they are competitive. The smallest home crowd for either team this year is bigger than the largest crowd that ISU can draw.

Travel distance is more important in basketball than in football. Both Creighton and Nebraska can fill their arenas with more fans within an hour's drive compared to either Iowa or Iowa State.

Smallest crowd is bigger than ISUs largest? Not sure if serious...

UN-L will be the program that the Jayskers will start supporting, as the draw of $8 beers won't be enough to overcome the fact that Creighton will only have one McDermott next year.

They will lose one more game at a minimum, but would anyone be surprised if Iowa finishes 4-2 or 3-3?

Hilton only holds 14,384. Most of Nebraska's crowds have been over 15,000 with the smallest being 14,765. Creighton crowds are usually mid 17,000's including at least 3 this year over 18,000. Their smallest crowd this season is 16,303.

Creighton usually sells out at about 18k and Pinnacle is bigger than Hilton at 15.4k and is well supported by fans.

Nebby use to be 8k fans in the Devaney Dump.

    Re: Nebrasketball

NCAA downtroddens Nebby and Northwestern both enjoying some degree of success in the Big14.

It's got to be because the league is so good, right?

You could be right, but if you're right it'll be at least a dozen times I've heard the same thing and it was very very wrong. I lived there for a while. Danny Nee era is still the pinnacle of the program and they couldn't win an NCAA game.

It's only going to get better with this addition:
