Consider the gauntlet thrown, Bill Paxton...

...go tend your little volcano, Tommy Lee Jones
...and back to the swimming pool, Sharknado.

There's a new king of the "Severe weather themed action film" genre (which again is being denied it's own category at the Oscars this year)

How dare you insult the genre? You said similar stuff about "Lord Business" in the Lego Movie, and that turned out pretty innocuous, remember?

I can always find an agenda with a movie. My wife loves this about me. Or not. I can't remember.

I have always wondered, what would happen if a monster self-aware, terminator tornado hit an major metro airport? Thank you for answering my question "Into the Storm"

Also, Janny how could you forget Clooney and Walberg. The Perfect Storm crew will undoubtedly have to respond.

Damn, you're right. I missed that one. Then again, they died, so there's not really any chance of a sequel.

By the way, if you've never seen the Simpsons episode that parodies "The Perfect Storm" you really should.

Portuguese Fausto became an instant classic Simpsons character.

Good point, well maybe the horny old lady ship captain that propositions Clooney can respond as a tribute to Marky Mark and George. And how could I forget John C. Reilly.

This has SyFy written all over it. I wonder why Lou Diamond Phillips is't in it.

I guess I need to add him to the no longer famous thread if he isn't there already

I watched the last half of Twister on TV a few weeks ago. The effects and the movie in general were a lot worse than I remember. And I didn't remember it all that fondly
