Not sure I would consider that analysis excellent, especially his take on Gibson.
This game hinges entirely on ISU's ability to make shots.

True. They have typically done well on the D Glass. The rebounding disparity really showed up with all the missed shots against Kansas. ISU hadn't been doing much for crashing the O Glass lately in order to get back on D.
Against OU, Spangler got quite a few O boards but it seems like a huge problem because they were late in the game on Key possessions.

doesn't it depend on us not skipping the first 7 minutes of every half?

Re: Excellent Analysis re: Texas Game

He kind of makes Kane's issues out to be a little worse then they were. First, he didn't lead the nation in technicals last year. He did the 2 years prior, but I believe he didn't have a single one last year. This shows his on court demeanor had improved. And it still has never been revealed what happened, and why he left. What, beside the technicals his freshman and sophomore years, makes him so "troubled".

Re: Excellent Analysis re: Texas Game

If I was a Texas fan that's about how I'd see it. As an ISU fan I just don't see this team with these players loosing all 3 games in a stretch they should have at least 1 or 2 wins. Also even remembering last year's game in Austin, it's never been the toughest environment to play.

After looking at the Marshall boards, it seems the consensus that Kane was forced out because a younger star on the team essentially went to the head coach and said its him or me. Then after Kane left, said young star was removed from the team, I believe for troubles with the law. Obviously it's hearsay, but most tend to believe that to be the story.

I thought that was a pretty good analysis and prediction. And no I am not a troll. I predict the Longhorns take this one.
