    One big difference is that this guy is able to control the population of Lions he is dealing with. He's on his reserve. Grizzly Man was in the Wild and had no idea what Bears would be around or any authority or ability to control the population. I'm not saying I would do it, but he is a bit more measured than Grizzly Man who appeared delusional and kooky.

    Probably, but Roy of Seigfreid and Roy was in control of his animals as well. All it takes is one, doesn't even have to be trying to harm the guy and boom, you are gone.

    The guy actually raised the lions from when they were young. Not discounting how amazing it is just noting that he didn't just walk up to a bunch of wild lions and hang with them.

    If this is the case, then the Title of this thread is misleading. "Wild" suggests to me that you just happened upon this group of lions in the wild.
