    It's been almost six years since I-State was adopted (2008). Has it grown on you yet?

    By the time I finally got into following college athletics and Iowa State, I-State was already the primary mark. I always liked it, but I've heard many opinions early on about how it was not unique enough or didn't really ID the "Iowa" part of "Iowa State".

    Now that we're relatively far removed from the old whirly-bird logo, how has it grown on you? Do like where we are at now with I-State, or would you rather have just had the old blender-Cy (or maybe featuring less blue)?

    It's all right.
    Nothing about it screams "Cyclone." That's the only real drawback I'd offer.


    Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

    Blender Cy was awkward, although I like it better with less blue.

    I'm okay with I State, but I miss Walking Cy.

    I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who says they prefer the preceding logo these days. Anytime you hear someone complain about the I-State now they want to bring back something way older like the Walking Cy. Definitely helps that the I-State is now firmly associated with a popular FB regime and a successful MBB program.

    I-State logo is very traditional looking and I love it. Living here in KC, it is very recognizable to the other fan bases that are down here. It is here to stay as ISU's main mark.

    That's the biggest thing I-State logo has going for it, other than good timing to be associated with this era in ISU athletics. Although it's new, it doesn't seem to be something that will look dated in a 10 years, unlike a lot of newer logos.

    I really like the I-State logo and hope they keep it as the primary logo for many, many years to come. It's sharp, simple and think of how great it would look on a white helmet

    I liked that too. I'm disappointed that got phased out as the secondary logo in favor of that dumb oval and the atrocious updated walking Cy. I still think I-State works better as a primary than bird-in-a-blender though. Just a bit too busy to really look sharp on jerseys or helmets.

    All they had to do was update the font....should be plastered on the helmets forever.

    And yes. The new "oval" secondary is a hideous ripoff of Louisville.

    Walking/Football/Basketball Cy should be the secondaries. No updates necessary.

    I hate the I-State logo. The new version of the blender bird is good and walking cy is perfect.

    I didn't like the new logo when it first came out, now i couldn't imagine going back to the old logo. It looks really dated.
    I think the walking cy and leaning cy will always be timeless logos.
