    Tasheed Carr

Has anyone else noticed how well Tasheed is playing at saint joes? Where was that at Iowa State. Also does anyone know what Cory Mcintosh and Dodie Dunson are up to?

    Re: Tasheed Carr

Corey McIntosh is playing for Div. II Augustana in Sioux Falls, SD. He's the team's leading scorer, I believe. But it really doesn't matter, since the competition up there is terrible, especially out of conference.

    Re: Tasheed Carr

I thought McIntosh was "homesick" or something. How could South Dakota cure that?

Well, you know, he's from out west and everything so he wanted to play for a school further west. Mission accomplished.

I heard he left because he didn't get a long with Mike Taylor.

Yes, Mac said that earlier this year on KXNO. Then Taylor got in trouble and we were out 2 guards.

I did a search on Dodie Dunson - to figure out where he's playing at now. He's playing at a school in Indiana called Vincennes University, never heard of it before.

    Re: Tasheed Carr

Carr was only a freshman at ISU. Sometimes, I think ISU fans have far too great of expectations for incoming freshman. Give them a year or two to develop. They are coming from highschool ball and jumping into a much more complicated college system against players who may have as many as 4 years more experience. Carr had a year at ISU plus a red shirt year at St Joes. Of course he is playing better now.

It's a fairly well known college in Indiana, at least. Shawn Marion went there.

My brother was working ER duty in Des Moines the night TC dislocated his hip in the summer league games, right after TC arrived in Iowa. A couple of ISU trainers brought him in and my brother said TC was a 'great guy'; very respectful and grateful to the docs & ER nurses treating him that night. For what it's worth, he was valedictorian of his prep-school graduating class (which I know, for some prep academies that's like saying you're the skinniest kid a fat camp). That Pete Taylor Trophy incident just seemed out of character for TC. I'm sorry he left ISU - and I'll remember that day he caught fire from the 3-pt line as we beat Texas.

"We are first and foremost an educational institution that values integrity, honesty and treating others with fairness and respect".

-ISU President Gregory Geoffroy; circa May 2003.

My pledge class did a "skip" to a chapter in Vincennes.

Yeah - if you ever travel by Vincennes - keep driving... There's something just a little further - don't know what. But it can't be worse.

We were supposed to stay for the weekend. Left at 9:00 AM the first morning....

    Now, Northern Illinois.. HOLY COW.

I was in Vincennes this past September for work - nice town, but really sleepy. I think you have to fly into Evansville unless you want to drive for forever. I'm heading back next year.

The Vincennes college is one of the oldest in the midwest. It's a community college. It's growing pretty rapidly. Dodie is their star right now - getting lots of PT.

Carr spent 2 seasons at ISU before transferring not one. He had a promissing freshman year, but really struggled his sophomore year.

IMO, he pressed too much and forced things when he was in the game because he wasn't getting much playing time.
