    LOST Spoilers on Blu-Ray

This is what my buddy paid $20 extra for: Not worth the dough, IMO.

    Walt definitely has psychic powers
    - Dharma drilled, hit area with large electromagnetic build up. Swan was built over this area to act as a sort of cork.
    - Desmond is solely responsible for the plane crash.
    - Pushing the button may indeed save the world. There is a reason they didn't use the fail safe key originally and continued pushing the button.
    - Penny is searching for the Island and when Locke didn't push the button her team saw the magnetic disturbance and found location of island. How did Penny even know there was an island to look for? We will find out in future. Since this development there is now a freighter off the island that Penny doesn't know about.
    - The island cured Locke of his paralysis but is it permanent?
    - Charlie, Nikki, Paulo, Shepard, Mikhail are all DEAD.
    - Others use Mittelos Bioscience as a cover when off island. It is not a real company.
    - Mittelos is acronym for lost time and we will find out how it relates to the others time off the island in the future.
    - The others do not just get in the submarine and travel off the island. The submarine is only a part of the mechanism that allows the others to travel off the island.
    - Joked that Marvin Candle, Mark Wickmund, and Edgar Halowax are different people. They are probably same person, but orientation films recorded at different times. In one orientation video he has a fake hand. We will find out more about him and what happened to his hand in the future.
    - Island has a very long history. Four toed statue may have something to do with ancient egyptians. Hieroglyphs in countdown timer in Swan a sort of tribute to them.
    - Richard Alpert could be 601 years old, but definitely not a day over 602 they joked. Island may effect cells and slow down aging process.
    - Dharma brought polar bears to island. Set free when hostiles took over and they bred.

The swan is the main hatch they found first.

But lost has not actually had an episode on in like 52 years, so I don't remember.

    Re: LOST Spoilers on Blu-Ray

Basically, this is everything I already kind of knew, although it's nice to see some official confirmation. It is interesting, though, that Dharma was drilling on the island? For what? Also, the producers have said that the hieroglyphics on the countdown timer translate to "underworld". I don't think the island has a definite geographical location, but rather acts as the end of a funnel that collects rogue artifacts from several points around the world such as the Bermuda Triangle and the Devil's Sea off the coast of Japan. Google "Vile Vortices" if you want to look a bit further into this reasoning.

If the island does in fact have a physical location, its location has been a secret until now because of the hatch explosion. Whatever that hatch did to do so, I think it reinforced something that cloaked the island from view, similar to the Philadelphia Experiment. Now that the hatch went kablooie, multiple organizations who have been looking for the island (such as the owner of the mystery freighter purportedly off the coast of the island) are now aware of the location of the island.

They need to get more into what that foot meant. I remember getting chills when I saw that, I thought it was going to be a big part of the plot, like what is that, was it a massive statue that fell down? But they only showed it that one time and then nothing.

Also, how did Desmond bring the plane down? Was it a magnetic pulse? I guess I don't remember why the plane actually crashed. They need a 2 hr recap show before this season starts to just show me what I forgot about.

    Re: LOST Spoilers on Blu-Ray

So is there anything left for new TV? Survivor ends this week. After that, I am not sure we have any new episodes of any of the shows we watch. Wait I think FNL has a few more left. Ugh, this is going to be a long winter.

When does American Gladiator start? =)

I see Fox is having Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles series. Wonder how long that will last.

In the season two finale during Desmond's flashback when he's running back to the hatch as all the metallic objects are flying in one direction... I think that's when you can assume that a major magnetic force emanating from the island broke the plane in half and caused it to crash.

It's still unknown how a lot of the passengers survived the crash. They still mention that there are dead bodies in the fuselage that had landed on the beach. Hopefully they get to answering that in the last three seasons.

Wow, blast from the long, long ago. Nice cork reference in describing the swan. Kinda shows that the writers indeed had a plan.
