    Arrested Development Movie

I know the thread about Superbad had a lot of discussion about how great Arrested Development was...

I found this about the potential big screen AD movie!!!

    AD movie?

    That would be awesome.

I would camp out at the theater for a week!! Although, sadly, I don't think I'd have as much competition to get in as I should!!

Much like Troy Davis was the best college running back that no one had heard of, Arrested Development was the greatest show that no one watched.

What is wrong with FOX? Why do they kill good shows (Family Guy, AD)? This show gave me faith in TV again.

I agree - they leave garbage on for forever (see every game/reality show they've had), but kill one of the few truly original comedies of the last several years!

I enjoy David Cross so much - I don't think he's done much since this show got cancelled? Did anyone ever watch "Mr. Show" on HBO? Fantastic show. And I went to see him when he was here a few years ago, and he was just hilarious.

    Re: Arrested Development Movie

David Cross has been doing a lot of cameo type stuff. He was on Time and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! last year (as the pizza delivery guy) (incidentally, Bob Odenkirk from Mr. Show is quite involved with TaEASGJ). His standup stuff is hilarious, and I very much appreciated his war of words with Larry the Cable guy.

AD is the ultimate sitcom, IMO. I have a hard time believing there will ever be a better sitcom, ever. I was hoping against hope that they would get picked up by showtime or HBO, but a movie wouldn't be all bad either. I think part of what made AD great, though, was the fact that it was a sitcom. I don't know for sure if it would all transfer to a movie, but I'd like to give it a chance.

Tobias Funke: The world's first analrapist. (That's Aanalyst/Therapist for those of you who haven't seen the show)

edit: also, for those of you who haven't caught "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" on adult swim, and who have a very bizarre sense of humor, give it a shot.
Here's David Cross as "pizza boy" (might be offensive to people who don't like sexual humor and/or ladies in underwear) [adult swim] | Adult Swim Video

    Re: Arrested Development Movie

I loved Arrested Development, have all the episodes on DVD.

Finally a support group for those who miss the show......

    What where Tobais' last words?
    "I blue myself"

Maybe we should try to have an open marriage!
Did it work for any of your clients?
No, they were deluding themselves, but I am sure it will work for us!
