    "Use of Company Computer Policy"

So as I get ready to sign the PC useage agreement that my company makes us sign every year, I would like some help with what is "brief and occasional personal use" is. I mean who among us here thinks checking the front page 6 or 7 times a day is "excessive". I feel that my time here may just be less then brief at this point and I may have to step it up a bit.

Anywho, "use of company computer policy" really take the fun out of the day.

6 to 7 times a day. I think I get that in 1/2 an hour

Um, I know for a fact we have something along the same lines. Yet, look at 22. He doesn't seem to be adhering to the policy.

I thought I was the only one that did that. Except the wireless I get is from the company downstairs. It works for checking Youtube as well.

And what policy are you adhering to, sir?

I don't recall signing anything like that, but - as long as I'm getting my projects moved though - it's all good here.

Just FYI, this is technically a felony.

If that's a felony, I should have a bunch of neighbors in the dorms in court because they're going off my wireless because I'm too lazy to secure it...

Do your neighbors download RIAA songs off your network?

Re: "Use of Company Computer Policy"

I fail to see how connecting to a unsecured wireless network is a felony. Hell if you are out and about your computer will connect to it automatically anyway. It should be a felony for someone to be to stupid to secure their own network.
