Weren't these the same guys singing Mack's praises just a few years ago? Oh, how the worm turns.

Those refs are really going to be earning those W's for Texas the next few years I bet.

Re: Mack Brown out at Texas

If I'm UT I go after the Aggie head coach Sumlin. You'd get a proven, top flight coach and stick it to little brother, which would totally jazz the UT boosters. I'd say the same about Art Briles, but he might just stay at Baylor at his age and with a new stadium opening next year. Third choice would be Gundy, who would love that job and be happy to get away from his current AD at Okie State. Shaw at Stanford has been very successful, but is less proven. Jimbo Fisher is going to be busy for a while at FSU, and would be likely to sign an extension there anyway if he wins the title game. But he would be a great fit in Austin. I just don't see how that happens. Dark Horse Candidates: Charlie Strong, Gus Malzahn, and Mark Dantonio. My way out of left field pick: Gary Pinkel.

And Kirk Ferentz' agent wants everyone to know that the Horns have contacted them to gauge his interest.
