Also need to put a visitors locker room under the SEZ so we can do away with this stupid criss cross thing.

Surely, there will be suites above the main seating area in the new SEZ.

My point is not to maximize AD revenue, but rather to give the students value equal to what they're paying for. Let's slow down on trying to wring the students dry because they're easy money.
The Student section currently occupies 28-32 and P-S.
Using the mirror side of the stadium, here's what those sections are worth.

    28) $500 donation + $375 ticket.
    29) $250 donation + $375 ticket.
    30) $100 donation + $375 ticket.
    31) No donation + $225 ticket.
    32) No donation + $175 ticket.
    P) Half $500 donation/$250 donation + $375 ticket.
    Q) $100 donation + $375 ticket.
    R) No donation + $225 ticket.
    S) No donation + $175 ticket.

If you want to give the students equal to what they're paying for, you stick them in all 4 corners or the endzone. Those are the places where the prices are comparable. I was a student once and would not have had a problem moving to the endzone, especially now with the view of that videoboard.

    According to http://www.cyclones.com/fls/10700/ti...B_OEM_ID=10700

At least $50 in ticket prices up to a $250 in ticket increase plus $500 donation minimum. That is as long as you discount the visitor section.

Students are paying about $360/ticket with the mandatory fee + ticket prices. Averaged out over those sections, seems about right.

And even quicker math = [$375.00 tickets x 8,000 reserved seat tickets = $3,000,000] Not including donations for getting those seats.

As a comparison, they currently charge $175 for end zone and upper deck corner seats today. So no, the students do not get screwed in either scenario.

That mandatory fee pays for a lot more than the athletic department. Cyride, Lied, and that State gym renovation are a big chunk of those fees.

How much are student tix these days and how much is the mandatory fee?
Even if they do cost $360/ticket for student seats, they are still in sections where donation levels are $100-500. That is a lot of money being left on the table.

Cant and wont. Doesn't dismiss the disaster those two were. If you want to make your self feel better go to the Sage years. Even then its iffy at best. Those 2 years where our shot to win this conference if you can't see that then thats a you problem. eel

The only way I can figure you get that number/FB ticket is if you're including all the students that pay a fee that don't get tickets. However, that completely discounts all the people that donate without getting tickets as well.

Athletics fee is $63/year per student; that doesn't count the CyRide, recreation, etc. fees.

I am adding in all student athletics fees plus the student tickets. Students are viewed as one entity in this block that purchase 8,000 seats collectively using those two sources of income. So it breaks down to $360 of student money per student seat in Jack Trice.

In that same vein, you would have to compare that to the amount donors give that don't buy tickets as well in order to do an apples to apples comparison.
