    SEZ Renderings/Concepts

I remember the Athletic Dept put out a few renderings as part of their Master Plan a few years ago showing a lower level and two deck option. The two deck option wasn't connected to the existing south edges to create a continuous/seamless bowl. I hope structurally they can pull this off to create a continuous bowl. So this got me thinking lets see what all you architects and engineers can create. Lets try to keep this thread on topic for potential renderings/concepts.

Two decks forming a continuous bowl
    Suites between decks
Aestically pleasing facade on exterior covering the steel support beams almost matching Hilton. Can't stand how you can currently see the beams and stairs from the exterior on east & west sides. We could add almost a crown molding piece on top like Hilton has.

I'm not sure that one is an option...I seem to recall hearing that the angle of the upper decks won't make a connected bowl without some garfed up corners to make it work out.

You are correct! That's how they ended up with the floating second deck.

I sure hope they get this right! The Jacobson building was just slapped in place, but the reason for that is for the indoor practice facility. With that being said they should have waited instead of piecing two buildings together and topping it off with a big sheet of tin that we could park our planes under.

It might not be possible, but if it could be combined with a parking garage it would solve some problems and the top level could include a clubhouse.

Using the old blueprints as a guide, it looks like seating capacity would have increased to a shade under 58,000 (57,879 by my math). If Pollard is talking 60,000, then there has to be an upper deck, and it has to be bigger than originally planned. Sounds pretty interesting.

Forget 50, we are going to start a 60k streak on 9/5/15!

Add a kids zone like the Brewers have at Miller Park. Make the kiddies crave the Jack Trice experience like a Happy Meal and we've got it licked.

    Re: SEZ Renderings/Concepts

I hope its built more up than out, unlike the east/west side.

As an overall exterior look I wish they'd enclose the sides and top of the east/west upper deck like the Seahawks stadium. Plus the sound reflects back towards the field.
