    Still excited

Even though we have had the year we have had, I am still excited for the game tomorrow. Someday you students will know what I am talking about. It is our last chance to watch and cheer the team and university we love until next August 30th. It may be cold but I will be there, cheering on our student athletes who have poured the last 5 years of their life into this program. They entered as boys and leave as men. Can't wait!

    Re: Still excited

i can't wait! my wife thinks we are crazy, but my neighbor (mizzou alum) was pumped when i asked if he wanted to go to the game.

i love the cold season games, much better than the august games. except for the scenery

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver."

    Re: Still excited

Wouldn't miss it for the world, we will be part of history, coldest game in JTS and home finale of some of my favorite Cyclones ever. Broomy, what heart playing and picking a pass with your arm in a cast last year. Woody, the tears started rolling on those carries against Okie State when I knew without a doubt you would be hugging that rock into the end zone. Thanks to all of you for the thrills.
