    UFC 167

    Some great fights but Hendricks got robbed with that decision. He dominated every round and GSP even came out after the fight saying he got rocked and couldn't remember some of the fight.

    Typical Nevada commission, reminds me of some boxing decisions back in the day...

    I didn't see the fight but I saw Dana White on FS1 say Hendricks was robbed.

    Don't leave it in the hands of the judges. The single most important theme of the UFC. And if you are fight a champion, you have to take the belt, not kinda take it

    Glad the NBA, Boxing, NFL and every other sport doesn't count their events... it was neat until it hit 100... from there it just seems a bit tacky and forced.

    Dana white had a big mouth but he is a fan. That is the big difference. He cares about the content more than the money or at least equally.

    I don't usually watch UFC, but I went to BWWs with my roommate last night and after the fight I figured I just didn't understand the scoring. I can see giving GSP the 3rd and 5th round, but I don't know which other one you could even make a case for.

    St-Pierre defeats Hendricks, but not without controversy - MMA - Jeff Wagenheim - SI.com

    1st Round - two for GSP, one for Hendricks
    2nd Round - all Hendricks
    3rd Round - all GSP
    4th Round - all Hendricks
    5th Round - all GSP

    So the difference came down to the 1st round scoring.

    Ya I watched the fight and GSP and agree with what Dana said in that interview, GSP looked like a fighter who thought he had lost the fight. Which is telling.

    Hendricks was robbed. I like GSP, but he was clearly the loser. I don't care about statistics and who landed more "significant" strikes. The more telling stat is the fighter who landed more damaging shots which was Hendricks. St-Pierre has peaked and everyone in the division is catching up to him.
