Their resume is less impressive than ISU. They've played one road game and it was an OT win against Ole Miss.

Tonight in OT at home and a 7 point home win over Illinois are their best wins. Like I said with Ohio State, I'm not upset we're not ranked higher, but neither of these teams has shown one bit more than ISU.

Tearing it up in the WCC is not going to help that much. Texas is a decent win, but I'm not sure Stanford will end up being that great of a win.

    College Basketball Ranking Composite

The most fair ranking that's not a brand popularity contest and not weighted for 100 years of history.

They got those two and then a whole bunch of "almost". Has to sting because they were the second best team in the NIT last year and might just barely miss the dance again.

8-5, but right now, SOS is 2 ... that's bound to go down in WCC play. I'd have BYU in at this point, still. But not doing itself any favors by missing opportunities.

BYU will likely lose 3 out of 4 to Saint Mary's and Gonzaga. After that, they will lose 2-3 other games they shouldn't since they don't play defense what so ever. Very good chance that would put them in the NIT.

Don't forget St. Mary's. They have three days left as an undefeated.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

BYU is definitely a tourney team. The one that starts with an "NI".

Oregon is a good team. Who cares if they are ranked ahead of us? It's early and it will all shake out. For all we know they may be underrated. Once the guys that just returned get in to the flow that team could be really good. Or maybe they will flop.

Yeah, you're right they actually went down 2 not losing and have been 18-13th all year. I was mixing them up with Baylor I think who leaped us with the kentucky win.
