    With Johnny being back it would be even cooler if some of these former state of michigan cyclones could be here too, especially Thigpen as the years he was ISU was when as a kid I was just getting into ISU BB and he was my favorite player.

    We need to be realistic though. If we beat OU on Saturday how many people will miss the basketball game because they were out partying all night? At least the tipoff on Sunday is kind of late for some to recover and the OU game is away

    Johnny is the greatest coach ever (thus far...) at Iowa State. I'm predicting the Mayor will out duel him eventually. Both are legends. LET'S GO STATE!

    You could make an argument and say Johnny Orr or Larry Euchasty was the best coaches for Iowa State. I think we have all debated this in the past on this forum. A matter of opinion. But I do think Fred will eventually establish himself as the best. Certainly doesn't happen overnight!
