I thought about including it, but I really like the first one. Plus I wanted to see if anyone else would list it. Mission accomplished I guess.

Never understood this poster... they made is seem like Scarecrow, Lion and Tin Man are actually significant figures in this.

I had never seen BTTF2. It was on last night and I started watching it. Oh my God, the first 20 minutes of it was so terrible, I had to stop watching. There is no possible way it was a masterpiece compared to anything. Possibly better than Sharknado, maybe, but that's about it.

When is the last time you watched Temple of Doom? I hated it as a kid, but when I re-watched the series prior to Crystal Skull, and a couple other times since then, I really like it. I actually think it's the superior of the two good Indy sequels.

    Staying Alive. (Kidding.)

    Definitely Godfather II. Others:

    Airplane 2.
    Halloween 2
    Christmas Vacation

I don't know if Silence of the Lambs counts, it's a sequel book to Red Dragon.

I'll help you out by quoting the gif. I think the original Clerks was great, but am I alone in thinking the sequel was terrible? I wanted to like it, but Kevin Smith has been going progressively more and more in the toilet pretty much since Chasing Amy.

No rules, really. Prequals count if you can think of any. Phantom Menace was a huge let down...

Rambo part 2. Solid flick. It was actually the first Rambo. The first one was actually "First Blood".

I personally wouldn't count Silence of the Lambs. Hannibal Lecter has been adapted in so many different movies, often out order from the books and its never really clear if the movies are supposed to have anything to do with each other or just be stand-alone stories.

Not sure I can agree with you there, Linden. The original Jaws set an incredibly high standard. Jaws 2 was absolutely disappointing in comparison. The original Jaws had suspense, humor, great acting, incredible writing, etc all rolled into one package. All Jaws 2 had was a shark that ate a helicopter and some New England teenagers with suspiciously strong rope-handling skills. (Seriously, watch them throw ropes in the movie. It's crazy how good they are. No teenager knows how to do that)

You thought Dogma was bad? I love that movie.
