    ESPN Streak for the Cash

Anyone else do the streak for the cash on ESPN? The pot is up to 350K and you got to get 27 in a row to win.

Pretty addicting game and having the iPhone app makes it pretty easy. Getting 27 in a row is damn near impossible so a couple friends and I are having a contest. Must get to 13 in a row. 5 bucks each month, winner takes all.

It's the first month we've done this and I'm up to 9.

We should get a CF group directory up if some other people do Streak for the Cash.

I'm not familiar with this game, but if it involves running while nude...I'm not sure a group consisting of CF posters would be advisable or tolerable.

been playing for awhile. my streak is at 8 right now. got england to beat chile at home at the moment as well. my all time win % is at .535 so a 27 streak is darn near impossible.

I don't play because I can't win... due to Disney/ESPN not allowing family members of employees to win awards.

I have the U.S. over Scotland right now...banking on the Scots drinking and fighting more than they practice (as usual)

I looked at my stats. My longest streak ever was 5 and my longest losing streak was 7 :(

Re: ESPN Streak for the Cash

Let's run a little math . . . let's say you are uncanny at picking each individual matchup, and you are correct 75% of the time. The probability of getting 27 in a row is (0.75)^27 = 0.0004233, or 0.04%.

In order to have a 50/50 shot at getting 27 in a row, your individual matchup percentage needs to be 97.465%. If you are this good, you're picking somewhere that isn't Streak for the Cash and making a lot more money . . .

I can't bet anywhere for free to win 350k but I appreciate the math.

My streak of 1 is about to end because France sucks.
