I believe it is flash based so that would answer your question.

Re: Unable to Watching Live Events on Cyclones iPhone App

The AD has communicated pretty clearly on this I think.

"Mobile phone viewing: At the time of initial launch, streaming video will not be made available for iOS and Android devices. Fans who purchase the PREMIUM Iowa State Athletics mobile app for iOS and Android will have access to all archive/on-demand video content (interviews, features, coaches shows, highlights, etc,) as well as live streaming audio of Cyclones.tv audio events (call-in shows, game broadcasts, etc.). A Cyclones.tv subscription is also required and a new version is released every August in advance of the upcoming sport season. Here are the followinge events that we will make available LIVE on mobile phones through our app:"

Although to be fair, there really shouldn't be any difference between video delivered to an iPad (live video is supported on the iPad app) and to an iPhone.

I was confused about this the other day. That says you have to pay for the premium app AND pay for Cyclones.tv, is that correct? Why wouldn't it just be included in my Cyclones.tv subscription?
