Only a few will see the Pats go undefeated

As of right now, I believe the game is slated to be on the NFL Network....

I know it is looking a few weeks ahead, but if the Pats are 15-0, will the NFL allow the broadcast by another network? Kind of interesting....

im sure the NFL network wants that to happen so everyone will call their cable company to try to get it added to all current packages

maybe mediacom will get their act together by then and pick up the nfl network. I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't be surprised if the game is on nfl.com.

I'm guessing they will stream it live on NFL.com like they did the Bears/Redskins last Thursday.

bigredqb7, you sure sound excited about this thread.

Re: Only a few will see the Pats go undefeated

Should change the title of the thread to 'Only a few will care to see the Pats go undefeated'.

And no, they'll never allow it to be broadcast on other networks. The NFL has been salivating over this for the last few weeks I'm sure, this will work out perfectly for them.

Re: Only a few will see the Pats go undefeated

I dont want to see the game, but if they didnt put the packers cowboys game on cable they certantly aren't doing that with this game. Seems to me the nfl is trying to do the same thing the big 10 network is doing and trying to force cable companies to pick up the bill. I would think the nfl would want as many people to watch it as possible but apparently they dont. I hate the patriots so keeping this game where most wont watch it doesnt bother me

It's the other way around... the Big 10 is sort of following in the footsteps of the NFL network. This has been a topic for a couple years now and they wont change their stance.

Business is business. If the NFL (a company) wants to show their product on their own channel so be it. I don't buy this whole argument that everyone should have the right to watch the big games. It's their company and it's up to them to decide how they want to promote it.

The people that are big football fans will see it... They already have the NFL network...

Besides this is exactly what the NFL wants, it will make people want to get the network more than they do now.

Exactly... The NFL is very happy that these games are meaningful. They have had more meaningful games the MNF.

Wow, put games on channels that no one has...that worked out great for the NHL.

Re: Only a few will see the Pats go undefeated

No one has the NFL network? Everyone that wants it can get it. It is only a few cable companies that do not carry it. Dish and DirecTV both have it. That is a pretty major percentage of the US.

Besides, all the people who really are big NFL fans have directTV because that is the only place they can get sunday ticket.

It will only be on the NFL network. That's why the refs handed the one game to the Patriots. More money for the greedy NFL.

6 of the top 9 Cable companies in the country don't carry NFL Network, I'd say that's a fair share of people.
