After five years? Have you been paying attention since Seneca was a senior???

lolz! "Questioning" a coach is FAR from what some people are doing on here!

Re: I think TCU should fire Gary Patterson and his whole staff

Some of you people amaze me, dripping sarcasm should be obvious. Most of you would scoff at the fact that TCU fire Gary Patterson because he has taken them to new highs right up until they joined the Big 12, its pretty easy to be sitting in Texas and be a Big fish in a little pond, now that you got released into a lake with other big fish, swimming is now hard. See also Dana Holgerson at WVU, when his team has had to bring it every week they fall down to mediocrity. They have had serious injury problems and who cares how close they keep the score, clsoe only counts in horshoes and hand grenades

As far as the 2005 Houston bowl win, TCU was ranked 10th at kickoff and the argument could be made that we should have won that game with an unranked Big12 team.

Explanation of the above post, Im not talking abiut fish or fishing in a lake, just so we are clear.

Any coach that can't beat ISU by 20 has some explaining to do!

If Patterson is that bad why wouldn't we want him to stick around.

Patterson may or may not be horrible, but he's won more Big 12 games than Rhoads has in the time since Peterson came to the Big 12.

I have to somewhat disagree with this. I think the higher a program gets, the less tolerant the fan base is with just a 500 record. LE took us to BACK to BACK conference championships (something never done at ISU) and when he fell to 500% the troops became very restless. GP went from pretty high to pretty low. Much bigger swing. Look at the "powers" in college football, coaches lose their jobs over a measly 10 win season. It's all about expectations.

And ISU as a program has been less than average.... How can be people not grasp this?

I hope he was joking because TCU and Patterson have had 100x more success than CPR and ISU.
