    Tony Franklin, Cal

Some assumed he was our offensive savior. He is currently the offensive coordinator at 1-9 Cal. They are win less in the PAC 12 and are averaging 19 points per game in conference play.

Well, our current OC has been shut out twice in non-garbage time (Baylor, K-State) and mustered 3 real points against TCU.

It couldn't get any worse. Cal has played better competition than Iowa State this year too. I don't think Tony Franklin is the savior but he's 10 times the coach Messingham will ever be.

Really? When did Messingham suit up? What number was he wearing?

there really is no standing up for him. i understand what you're saying, but take off the blinders if you don't see a serious problem.

Oh come on. The product on the field is his coaching reflection. Your excuse is flimsy when it is repeated week after weak that he does not suit up and so he is not at fault for the collapse.
