    Rohach is hard to watch

What do coaches see in this guy?

The whole offense is hard to watch.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

Coaches aren't helping him by calling a bazillion pass plays.

The Offense is unprepared to pick up the blitz, and we aren't able to adjust to it.

Re: Rohach is hard to watch

I don't put it all on him though - no WB could succeed with the way our coaches treat them. Johnny Manziel would look bad with Rhoads and Messingham leading him.

Rhoads needs to hire an up and coming OC and completely hand over the offensive keys.

He's a fricking QB. He should be able to throw an accurate pass....which he obviously can't. He is horrible. He is missing wide open receivers. I don't give a flip how good our incoming class of WRs are because it won't matter if these guys are "throwing" the ball to them.

Another thing is he is a Freshman and obviously not Big 12 ready. All this is doing is destroying his confidence. Can't imagine him being a big factor the next 4 years. Hope I am wrong but this can't be good for the future.

FIFY. We tried the underexperienced and look at the Mess.

I say up and comer because we are more likely to be able to afford a guy on his way up that can make a difference than an established guy.

Mess had experience, but it was just really bad. He has never succeeded at any level.

Re: Rohach is hard to watch

There are a lot of factors making it an uphill battle for GR today, he's been off but there are things he does better than Sam. He's better at making his 2nd, 3rd read etc...than Sam, I think he's had a couple of good decisions on 3rd downs today but can't make those throws. A lot of time, Sam doesn't like his first read then takes off, which works when he's healthy but we've seen how it works when he's not. Don't get me wrong, I'd take Sam every time, but just saying, Grant does some good things.

Re: Rohach is hard to watch

I think its some sort of psychology experiment by Mess and the offensive staff. Lets see how badly we can screw up our QB. Started out screwing up Jantz for 2 years. Sam was a 3 year experiment and now Rohach gets the full 4 year treatment. Just my theory anyway.

Re: Rohach is hard to watch

Why don't we run zone-read with Rohach? It was such a vital part of our offense.

Oh, there's one finally. Good one.

    Section110 on 9/12/14: Iowa 35 ISU 17
The subpar defense from the Cyclones gives the Hawks a chance to finally start to get their confidence rolling on offense. Both running the football and through the air.
*Breakout player prediction.... Everyone is going to have their eyes on Allen Lazard because of his hype coming out of H.S., but Derrick Willies steals the show.
