The KSU comparison ( I don't know if it was meant to be a comparison or just a credit to Snyder) but that rotation has two guys with different skills. It's not done completely willy-nilly like ours is. There's a plan there, not so much here.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

Was in no way a comparison to Iowa State.

Close to turning it around. Like Adam and Chris said, you don't see it this year but I think we are just a few personnel changes away from 7-8 wins next year.

I would like to agree, but when you're getting consistently beat by 35 points like ISU has the past 3 weeks, it's tough to see it happening. What is going to be so different next year from this year? Our inexperienced players will have experience, sure. But will they be better? Do these players all of a sudden become Big 12 caliber athletes, or are we just going to see more of this C-USA level talent flailing all over the field? I saw how poorly our Class of 2012 was ranked, and I don't think it points to quite as bright a future as some are predicting. Somebody tell me I'm wrong.

    You're wrong.

All valid concerns and there isn't any flaw in your logic. I keep coming back to the healthiest game of the year. Texas. We beat them that night. I know it, you know it, and Texas knows it. Since that night we have lost Wimberly, West, Boesen, Gannon (and let's be honest, everybody essentially on the OL), Watson, Knott, Scott, Richardson (been re-banged up again) etc. You aren't replacing them with JR/SR's either. You are replacing most of those guys with FR/SO. I still think we have increased skill talent (WR, RB, and DB). I think our DL will be pretty solid next year as Irving and Coe will have their first year at DT under their belt. The question is OL and LB. IF OL is healthy, you hope the added experience and age makes them better.

I still think this is a 7-5 or better team next year. I also understand how crazy that sounds as we sit here today with a legit possibility of only winning 1 game. People are able to disagree and I'm cool with that.

I agree we are closer than we appear, and it starts at the QB position. Whether it is Coaching, or the players having a light turn on or a better player. The QB position is holding us back.
