If Rhoads doesnt fire someone this year, I'll not support him as our head coach anymore. Fred Hoiberg will be getting the money I spend on football added to what I've spent on basketball.

He needs to make a change on the offensive side of the ball or you will have a lot of ticked off ISU fans. Messingham is a fine position coach but an awful coordinator.

    Re: Joel Lanning

What ever happens I just hope we can get the the point where we don't start seeing QB's take a starting role until they are Juniors. I really struggle with seeing any success on offense when we keep running these redshirt freshman out there as the starter constantly. I can't believe (well maybe with Messingham) that we are so bad at recruiting QB's that once they get to campus we figure out they're terrible so we have to get another freshman out there.

JL may have a big arm but what we lack most out there now is decision-making and an ability to see the whole field. Could be an interesting spring game if QB is up for grabs.

I defer to the lack of inadequate coaching to pinning on players. A cycle that is repeating itself.

Hopefully we will not have to turn to Lanning yet with the offensive staff getting **** canned and hiring capable coaches.

As for the QBs, God help them all.
If you have watched any of press conferences the last couple seasons, that's not the case. He admits it's much more than the QB, but does say the QB is a part of the problem.

Weren't you also the one that bailed on the basketball team to? I mean you predicted losses in multiple games, after the ou game. You spent countless posts ripping the basketball program as well.

Good to see that you don't just fly off the handle, let's me know how seriously to take you.

Can say the same to those that post in blind faith to a staff that has not earned it. Two way street.

I will post positive thoughts when there is positive things going on in Jacobson.

I feel sorry for the players we have getting the blame for the **** poor coaching they are getting.

Don't quote him-- that bypasses the ignore function.

    Re: Joel Lanning

One of the things wrong with our average qbs is standing still looking to pass. The better qbs move around a little bit in the pocket to make open throwing lanes. You can have the best throwing arm, but if receivers are blanketed and not open, oh well.

Joel is the next Jay Cutler

“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”

"I hope to coach here until I retire," Hoiberg said.

Don't particularly care for Cutler myself, but all p*$$ies are welcome at ISU, if they are as good as Cutler is. Just my own opinion on the matter.
