Truth be told, because of the tremendous loyalty of Cyclone fans who show up no matter what the product on the field is, it's the coaching staff that maybe feels entitled and has a false sense of accomplishment. They know there are going to be butts in the seats no matter how the team plays.

Run routes to get first downs!!! Said a few words at my TV which my kids should not know. My wife reminded me of this about 10 times. Long night.

I think Coach Rhoads is the right man to lead this program, but it certainly would help prove that to me by firing some offensive coaches.

Just got back from the game...

On the positive side...well...my wife's Passat TDI is a blast to drive.

On the negative side...well...ISU appears to be playing at an FCS level in the head coach's fifth year. My first game in person this year, and I see now why ISU lost to UNI. The talent disparity is shocking.

Keyboard control freak? That is the best you can come up with? Let me guess, you are not a student or grad of ISU and don't actually go to games anyway.

Re: Rhoads needs to apologize after that performance

What I find appalling is how little total yardage we managed. I looked up what other teams on BU's schedule had gained against them and the only team that was even close to as bad as we were was Wofford, and they STILL out-gained us by nearly 60 yards. Baylor's opponents and the total yards they gained against the Bears this season:

    Wofford - 233
    Buffalo - 363
    Louisiana Monroe - 295
    West Virginia - 394
    Kansas State - 446
    Iowa State - 174

The current state of the offense just isn't acceptable. I don't care who was on the field for us, we should be doing better than that. Seriously, did someone let Jim Walden in the side door when no one was looking?

All people who make sweepingly generalized, stupid, uninformed comments are idiots.

    Yes...

I see the same thing. Hopefully some of the fans become a little less delusional after this game though. Rhoads needs to be held accountable. Mess needs to be fired.

Yeah but did any of those teams punt for 431 yards?

Looking over the box score is as painful as I thought it would be after watching the game, ugh.

You would be the expert on this - you were this guy when McCarney's head was on the chopping block.

I only agree with you about 92% on this board, but this one of those times.

3rd straight loss in conference for UNI. Would ISU even finish top-half of the MVC?

As long as teams kick it away from Jarvis, no.

Not quite - but when you fire a coach, you better hire someone better. I doubt this is "better."

Well that was fun. We need answers as to why we are in this position in year five coach. We wouldn't even compete in the mvc ******* pathetic.
