    Noneed for Texas preview

As defending national champions and current No. 1 ranking, with a roster full of talent, this Texas team will prove to be a handful for our girls. Texas is lead by the No. 1 ranked recruit out of high school and last year's first team All American and NCAA tournament MVP Bailey Webster. The team adds depth with No. 9 overall recruit Hannah Allison and No. 73 recruit Sarah Palmer; these girls are all seniors so should be at the peak of their game. But they also have the likes of Junior Khat Bell who was a No. 2 recruit and freshman Chiaka Ogbugu who was a high school All American.

The NCAA has us ranked 57th right now, which is as dumb as USA News bottom in the Big 12 ranking of our mens basketball team.

An upset is possible, if we play to our ability for the first time this year, but a more likely outcome, as much as I hate to say it, is a 3-1 Texas win. My guess is that age and experience will be our biggest issue to overcome, not talent and not coaching.

Oh, and lets hope that the officiating is better than we saw yesterday in Hilton!! It certainly wasn't biased, it was just plain bad.

You forgot to mention former Waterloo West diva Haley Eckerman.
