    Alford on Recruiting Trail

Top-50 recruit Trevon Bluiett decommits from UCLA - ESPN Los Angeles

Lost top 50 commit and #11 SF on ESPN, wanted to be closer to home in Indiana.

Another top 100 narrowed list and cut UCLA from final two.

It will probably take UCLA all of two years to realize the mistake they made. Like McDermott, Alford is a mid-major coach. With the right players, they can take a mid-major a long ways. Expectations and the whole game changes when you step up to the next level and play better teams on a regular basis. Mac is about to get his second lesson in that with Creighton's move to the Big East.

Take them a long ways? Maybe a conference title but he is guaranteed to get beat round 1 of the tournament

Ah the old "I want to play closer to home' bit. That's the "it's not you, it's me" of recruiting.

Actually in most cases it's the Sorry UCLA, the other school gave my dad a John Deere Tractor also. So I won't be able to play with Neon.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
