    OU Crimson and Gold

Looks nice - I'd love to see ISU do something similar with a hint of gold

Rumor is that UT will also add gold trim to their uniforms for OU. Sounds like an anniversary game.

Yeah, well, we all hope OU takes the anniversary and shoves it right up Mike Davis' arse...

We'd look silly with OU on our gloves, far as I'm concerned.

OU is not playing well without there throwing QB. OU barely beat TCU 20-17

I've always thought we should just make gold one of the school colors. Cardinal and gold would have a good look to it. And then maybe add in navy blue too.

Where are all of the tradition lovers that come out of the woodwork whenever uni changes are suggested. You don't get more tradition than OU. It's time to get some creative uni's. Seems everyone is on board but us.

A quick search revealed that it's both teams — I'm getting conflicting info whether it has an anniversary connection. Lamehorn Nation makes reference to "1963" but doesn't elaborate (and it includes a sentence fragment, too, so I have no clue if it has historic connection).

Link for that: Texas will wear uniforms with gold trim vs. Oklahoma

    Re: OU Crimson and Gold

The uniforms are meant to pay homage to the Golden Hat, the trophy associated with the game. Oklahoma will uniforms with similar trim. The agreement with Nike is for two years.
