    If you had the power

Would you eliminate the extra point and make the two-point conversion standard?

I've long thought this was a no-brainer. One exciting play would always be followed by another.

I'd get rid of kickoffs or else put the ball back to where it used to be kicked from.

No, I like the option of either two points or one point.

I second that. It just adds another variable to the mix.

Re: If you had the power

This isn't related to the two point conversion but if I had the power I would like to go back to having college football games take under three hours.

Every Iowa State fan should be answering this question "yes". But only if that also eliminates field goal kicks.

Re: If you had the power

having this as an option would gives teams a chance who have 6 point leads only to lose them when a team scores and makes an easy xp for the win.

Re: If you had the power

No, I wouldn't. Because I know that there would be a time when Iowa State was down by 7 points in the biggest game of the year and we would score the touchdown, but not convert the 2 point and lose when we could have just kicked for 1 and went to overtime.

Or vice-versa and the other team would get the 2 point and we would lose.

Why do people have to keep bringing up the last Nebraska game.

Anyone know why CPR seems to hate the idea of taking a game into overtime at home?

Re: If you had the power

Why not, the officials seem to be making things up as they go along. Due to this thread, I see the TTU game rules changing every time ISU scores a TD.

Head Ref jogs up to CPR "Hey Coach, just got a call from Austin, you guys have to go for two on this attempt. Oh, and you only get 7 players. Aaaand, TTU gets 13." Paul complies and thinks to himself "Imagine what me and Wally can do 13 on 7 if they score again."

Next TTU TD, CPR sends a couple extra guys out and gets flagged for too many players. CPR mentions in the post game presser about how he was confused when the PAT rules kept changing and gets suspended by the T10 for the rest of the decade.
