Frankly, I could see this game going either way. Nothing about TTU is overwhelmingly intimidating, once you get past Amaro. Only downside is ISU won't know which QB to gameplan for.

I'm really looking forward to this game. This has a solid chance to be our annual ranked road win.

I watched the KU Tech game. Amaro IS a beast...not sure how our guys will match up to him.

KU threw some stuff at Tech the first quarter that they weren't ready for...but by the second quarter, Tech had their playbook down cold. Here's hoping our play-calling is less predictable, and more productive.

Well, from how TT has been play thus far, I find it funny that Tech fans claim Tuberville ran their program into the ground. His recruits seem to be playing pretty well so far.

Just like every year, no one can get a read on Texas Tech. I think we can beat them, and if want any chance to make a bowl it starts here. Lose and you're basically playing for experience.

Eh...a bowl game is pretty optimistic at this point...I'd like to see them win more than the predicted 3 games at the start of the season. There's no doubt that any game they play garners experience, and they're awfully short on that!

I hope this upcoming game brings back TTU poster KillBilly and his very nice avatar.

Don't misunderstand me, he left us with some very good players, including Amaro. However, his OL recruiting was terrible, and left us in a really bad spot this year. We have a strong tradition of solid offensive lines, so that's tough to swallow for a lot of Tech fans.

I pretty much just assume we're being trolled by opposing fan bases generally. Don't really see the point in trying to make nice with other fan bases.

Wally is so good at matching up against TTU, I think we steal one on the road.
I understand where you're coming from...but a lot of that logic can be applied to Iowa State as well. We have played a poor schedule so far, but we have done what we were supposed to do. You have played a tougher schedule, but that really only matters if you win. Tulsa and UNI aren't good measuring sticks for Big 12 teams, and Iowa and Texas are not good teams.

Didn't say they'd make a bowl, said if they want any chance to.
