    Pretty much.

I really don't think any of the DB positions will ever be an issue as long as Rhoads is here. That seems to be his specialty

Who knows on Washington. Could be a lot of guys, Mutcherson, Cotton, Schaefer, Cotton-Moya or a JUCO.
Hopefully Darius White "clicks" like George did in his 2nd spring. From what i have seen in the spring game and warm ups and what not, he looks like he is the most athletic of the options for MLB, and he definitely looks the part at 6'1 233.

I don't see why people are doubting Rogers as a safety. The kid is as athletic as they come and has been taken under Washingtons wing. We've got years left from Richardson and Tribune at corner, not to mention Matt Thomas and Ken Lynn still pushing.

I'd say the 2 favorites for the safety spots are Cotton and Rogers with Mutcherson, and Cotton-Moya competing for PT. Cotton seems to have a nose for the football and the others are young and with another off-season of coaching this position should be fine.

Also I think Kamari Syrie is a guy to look out for too. He's not too tall at 5'9 (rivals says 5'10) but he's almost 200 pounds already and the kid can hit pretty hard (reminded me of David Sims in his highlights).

    Re: Injury Update?

As for Lalk i believe they said he could be back this week. Hopefully we don't play him too soon because he was listed as a starter for game 1 and with Farniok getting back into things he could help us shore up the guard position (which the young guys have played well at IMO Burton and Omoile).

I think the future of our OL looks good too. Burton, Omoile and Dagel have performed well and Gannon has improved also.

Rogers would make a better safety than Tribune, and vice versa. Tribune will be a solid lockdown CB by his Jr. year.

    This is Ophion speaking.

If Tribune is playing corner over Rogers this year, what makes you think he won't next year?

After the UNI game (which Watson was out) Rogers hasn't played one down at the RCB or LCB positions, it's obvious he is playing solely the nickel CB position.

But that has nothing to do with him moving to safety. That is pure speculation given his size and the lack of other options on the roster.

Go back and re-watch the game from Thursday focusing on SER, you'll see it's him. He might tackle better than all of the above.

    Re: Injury Update?

I am very confident in Sam E going forward at corner. After that Texas game, its very easy to see how he won the position. I like Rodgers taking over for Broomfield next year. Will have a lot of speed at DB.
